Jarah Aubrey AKA singer/ songwriter Jabs has just dropped her latest offering 'Spiral', a delicately soulful jam which demands repeat listens. With echoes of Joanna Newsom’s sing-talk vocal style combined with plaintive synth echoes and spidery guitar licks, this is an otherworldly treat. A surprise appearance on the track is Wilough AKA Willow Smith, adding a mystical yet heartbreakingly vulnerable edge to Jabs' sound, along with her BFF Crystal Mec, a member of Wilough's Diaspora collective.  Wilough's already collaborated on a number of the ascendant artist's groovily ethereal jams and the result is pure magic. We're willing to bet that Jabs is on a steady rise and we're just glad we've found her at the right time.
